Artist’s Statement

My work is rooted in experimentation and an ongoing curiosity about color, texture, form, and material. I work across acrylic, oil, pastel, charcoal, mixed media, and fused glass, allowing each medium to guide the direction and character of the finished piece.

Moving between abstraction and representation, I draw inspiration from nature, memory, emotion, and the landscapes around me. Some works begin with a recognizable subject, while others develop intuitively through layers, marks, fragments, and unexpected relationships.

I want my art to offer both visual energy and a deeper emotional connection. Playfulness and spontaneity are essential to my process, but so are reflection and meaning. Each piece becomes a space where observation, imagination, and personal experience can meet.
